Waimangu Volcanic Valley is the world’s youngest geothermal environment, with a unique history and legacy. Home to incredible geothermal features, including the world's largest hot spring, visitors are immersed in the stories of the Mt Tarawera volcanic eruption, its people, and the resulting dramatic landscape changes that created this unique thermal valley.
